Senior Associate
Alan has 17 years of line management and project experience in logistics, transport and shipping in Europe, South & East Africa, Arabia and Australia, including command in the Merchant Marine and managing multi ethnic teams of up to four hundred people. He has also worked in the derivatives industry in private funds management.
Since 1990, Alan has focused on consulting and coaching in the areas of career management and executive, management and team development, with Coopers & Lybrand (W.D. Scott), DBM and now with LDN International.
He works across a range of industries, including utilities, mining, manufacturing, IT, telecommunications, finance and professional services and state and local government, including ASX Top 20 companies and SMEs.
Alan’s wide ranging experience and accommodating style allow him to work successfully and comfortably with people from a broad array of backgrounds both on an individual and a group basis, to achieve effective individual and team behavioural and operational outcomes in a manner consistent with organisational goals.
Accredited and experienced in a range of Lominger tools in the Leadership, Strategic and Team Effectiveness arenas, MBTI® (Step II) and Personal Directions®, backed by a Master’s (Foreign Going), Alan brings a considered, focused and practical approach to his coaching and consulting with, where appropriate, an occasional dry humour.
