Penny is Director of Business for Life - a professional services company specializing in executive development and organizational effectiveness. She partners with clients to help them build leadership capability, shape their futures and enhance business performance. With 25 years of organisational life as a business owner, executive and consultant, her experience spans a range of industries from new ventures to privately owned businesses and multinationals in New Zealand, Australia and Asia.
Penny is an experienced consultant, executive coach, thinking partner and facilitator with a solid reputation for helping clients discover more open and collaborative ways to achieve lasting results. She began her career in social services and career guidance then went on to hold an executive position in learning and development in the New Zealand Treasury. In 1988 she jointly founded and led a successful management development consultancy in New Zealand and 12 years ago established Business for Life.
Penny holds a Bachelor of Social Work (Psychology) and has completed executive development programmes at Monash/Mt Eliza Business School and Ashridge Management College (UK). Penny is a Lominger Affiliate - experienced and accredited in the Leadership Architect® Suite of tools. Penny is also accredited in Human Synergistics Leadership Tools, Hay Group International Emotional Competence Inventory, MBTI Steps I and II and Values at Work International AVI Mapping. Penny is a member of the New Zealand Institute of Directors.
